I approached Dean in 2020 after purchasing a 2BR unit in Sunshine Beach. Dean came highly recommended by a well renowned builder on the Sunshine Coast who wasn’t unavailable at the time. I knew from my first phone conversation with Dean that he was the right person for the job. Dean’s impeccable eye for design and meticulous attention to detail along with his laid back approach made the entire process seamless, stress free and enjoyable.

Having engaged Dean during Covid meant that travel restrictions prevented me from meeting Dean and visiting on site for progress discussions. This also meant Dean was left to make decisions on his own. Dean nailed the brief aesthetically every time. Not only was his workmanship next-to-none, his advice on colour selections and interiors was unfaultable. He was trustworthy and reliable.

Dean kept me informed and up to date during the entire renovation. He did this weekly, sometimes daily with progress photos and via face time when necessary. He was also transparent with his costs – there were no nasty, hidden surprises at the end. 

Dean made what is traditionally a stressful process fun. He even stayed on hand over day to help assemble furniture. I can’t wait to do another project with Dean and work with him again in the future. I highly recommend Dean to anyone looking to renovate or build on the Sunshine Coast. He’s a ripper.

We had a very tight schedule to work with. Dean commenced at the end of July with the aim to be in by Christmas. Work was complete on the 19th of December. The finishing’s are beautiful and we are so delighted with the end result – it’s a really beautiful space.
